About Us - Background

Peter has worked all his life in the Hydraulics Industry, is a qualified design engineer with experience in the design of Systems and Power Units, Hydraulic Rams, Cartridge Valves and Hydraulic Motors.

Having moved into the field of Technical Sales Peter worked with Companies throughout Europe, Scandinavia, North America and Japan. This included design projects with such companies as Caterpillar, John Deer, J I Case, JCB, Massey Ferguson, Komatsu and Atlas Copco to name a few.

Peter was then responsible for establishing a company in North America that designed and developed a market leading range of electro hydraulic cartridge valves.

Peter felt that through Scorpio Hydraulics he could help provide users of hydraulic machinery with a first class service based on his extensive knowledge of the hydraulic market.
